Background:  Water is used for wash purpose in many food processes. Dissolved air flotation units are used for the water treatment. The oily sludge  is a major issue in food process. Also grease trap is another issue. 

New Processes:  We have developed two  patented processes to convert above oily  sludge or grease into dry encapsulated fat products with high fat level, which adds more value and forms non-oily and free-flowing dry fat products. 

One process is to encapsulate the oily sludge or grease with the feed-grade chemicals and  remove moisture. Another process is to use a protein ingredient to encapsulate the oily  sludge or grease. Both products have high fat levels. The encapsulated fat product has been commercially manufactured. The facility is available for visit. Our product samples are also available.

When a plant has above oily sludge or grease at 12 tons/day in solid basis, then the solid encapsulated fat product can add more than $2 millions/y. 

Our patented processes converts the oily sludge or grease in liquid form into free-flowing and non-oily fat products in dry form and adds value.

As dry fat products for animal (pork, poultry, dairy, and aquaculture) feeds.
