Background:  AF (air flotation) units are used for waste water treatment. The oily AF sludge  is an issue in food processing plants. 

New Process:  We have developed a  patented process to convert oily AF sludge into an encapsulated fat nutritional product, which adds value and forms non-oily encapsulated products, even the products have high fat level. More than 15,000 tons/y of the high fat product is produced in our processing plant in MO.

When a plant has the above AF sludge at 40 tons/day in solid basis, the solid encapsulated product can add $ 4 million dollars of value per year for the plant. 

This patented process converts the AF sludge into free-flowable encapsulated fat product and adds significant value back to the processing plants.
